Package: phonon-backend-vlc Version: 0.0.1~git1+1b1ce593-1 Severity: important Tags: experimental
For me, this backend does not play oggs in Amarok. I cannot even add oggs to the playlist in Amarok, while this works fine with the xine backend. Even worse, when I have oggs in my playlist while using the xine backend and then switch to the phonon backend, Amarok crashes when I apply the change (vlc being the most prefered backend) in the phonon backend selection. vlc plays oggs just fine. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages phonon-backend-vlc depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.4.4-6 GCC support library ii libphonon4 4:4.6.0really4.4.2-1 the core library of the Phonon mul ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.6.3-1 Qt 4 D-Bus module ii libqtcore4 4:4.6.3-1 Qt 4 core module ii libqtgui4 4:4.6.3-1 Qt 4 GUI module ii libstdc++6 4.4.4-6 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libvlc5 1.1.0-4 multimedia player and streamer lib ii libvlccore4 1.1.0-4 base library for VLC and its modul phonon-backend-vlc recommends no packages. phonon-backend-vlc suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
