So, if akonadi dies and is later unable to start (and you can't deny there have not been such reports,) I can't even assume the email draft is saved? The GUI was being redraw/refreshed but none of the buttons nor any other GUI element/widget was working. That means that at least one thread was alive and it could have saved a backup of the draft. Shall I reopen (and retitle if you wish) the br then?
