Also, I have no damn idea what is a "bureau > sémantique"...:-)
In case it helps, the original message is: "Nepomuk Semantic Desktop needs the Virtuoso RDF server to store its data. Installing the Virtuoso Soprano plugin is mandatory for using Nepomuk." As a side note: The cut-off-text bug was fixed in trunk last week. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=224288 I also CC'ed annma for the "improve translation" issue mentioned above. @Annma, if you want to fix the cut-off strings for 4.4.4, insert newlines in all messages in kdebase/nepomuk.po that have the msgctxt "@info - notification message" Like: 190 #: services/storage/repository.cpp:96 191 msgctxt "@info - notification message" 192 msgid "" 193 "Nepomuk Semantic Desktop needs the Virtuoso RDF server to store its data. " 194 "Installing the Virtuoso Soprano plugin is mandatory for using Nepomuk." 195 msgstr "" 196 "Die Nepomuk-Semantik-Dienste benötigen den\n" 197 "Virtuoso-RDF-Server zum Speichern der Daten.\n" 198 "Zur Verwendung von Nepomuk müssen Sie das\n" 199 "Virtuoso-Soprano-Modul installieren." That way, the messages are shown properly. As said, there is no need to do this for trunk, as the bug is fixed there.
