The menu does not display a 'kolourpaint' entry in 'graphism' submenu (where are TheGimp, Xsane, ...). The shortcut diseapered but I don't know when. However kolourpaint.desktop files exists: steph...@degtyarov:~ $ locate kolourpaint |grep desktop /usr/share/app-install/desktop/kolourpaint.desktop /usr/share/applications/kde4/kolourpaint.desktop /usr/share/gnome/applications/kde4/kolourpaint.desktop But it's not displayed in Gnome (perhaps it's ok in KDE?). I don't know if it's a good fix but after copying in /usr/share/applications/, it works. Command used as root: # cp /usr/share/app-install/desktop/kolourpaint.desktop /usr/share/applications/kolourpaint.desktop I wonder if there is a variable defining the .desktop file path.
