arts throws a SIGSEGV when starting up when ESD is selected as a sound
system and there is no local ESD (but a correctly set ESPEAKER instead). The
ESPEAKER variable is set in Xsession and is visible to all and esound
works fine with xmms (using esd plugin) and other esd-aware apps .
As a result ESD cannot be used for KDE in an XTERM setting.
