Package: kde-minimal Version: 5:55 Severity: normal Hello,
I just bought a new PC thinking that the pc will be turbo fast with LINUX instead of windows. So the result: I installed LINUX debian squeeze, with the minimal KDE install. The result: KDM is very slow to start. The desktop is very slow, although changing to lower display features things, at max. So this new KDE is nice ok, but come on, you made it as slow as Windows XP. The image of LINUX is better than this. Well, so I swap the KDE to fluxbox and JWM for my hardware. I remind that it is a brand new computer. HP MINI, the mini pc from compaq. :( Best regards I like KDE very much, since it offers complete applications, compared to gnome, but kde instead of the good old kwin is SLOW, but very.
