-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I was suffering this bug for a long time (6 months). Yesterday I removed all pulseaudio packages (with the exception of the essential libraries, libpulse0, etc.) and now kmix seems to work well.
The reason I installed pulseaudio some time ago was my sound card (HDA Intel) wasn't well supported by 2.6 kernels until recently, and Phonon failed sometimes complaining that no ALSA souncard was available. All in all, I got rid of PulseAudio and everything seems to work well now. Cheers, mendi > The bug isn't kmix related but is, more likely, related to pulseaudio. > Notice bug #556971; I found some info related to pulseaudio in kde bugreports. > I solved uninstalling pulseaudio, in the bug i reported there > is an alternative solution. > > Greetings, > Francesco Cammaroto -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAktYStkACgkQ89MXueSLD48keACcDFGd6Imm1cbiP3DKk3czH6is HxAAn1+eaS23sz/IHK59uo4z9r/Q+DKF =TrC1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
