Hi everyone I can reproduce the issue. It is really annoying as it means that kmail is unable to filter out spam (I use spambayes). Investigations in kdepim's bugzilla lead to: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171061 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=174430 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=182208 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=186264 The bug has been fixed by upstream, and the fix has been backported to the 4.2 branch. The patch is available at http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=960606 Could you consider including the patch in the Debian package without waiting for a new upstream release?
