Package: kdeinit4 Version: kdeinit Severity: normal
Upon login I get a ksshaskpass window. It duly accepts my correct passphrase, but it doesn't add any identities to the X session. "ssh-add -l" confirms this: "The agent has no identities." Here is some of the hierarchical process table when the window appears. As you can see, the parent is kdeinit4. ben 4216 0.1 0.1 35656 5512 ? If I run ssh-add myself from Autostart or later from a shell, then everything works fine, the identity is added, etc. But then of course there's the question of which ssh-askpass window I actually need to type my password into. This actually scared me the first time I saw it--I figured someone had Trojaned my system and installed a fake ssh-askpass. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
