Package: phonon-backend-gstreamer Version: 4:4.3.1-1 Severity: normal The version mentioned doesn't work in my new KDE 4.2.2 installation from the latest "sid" addition. The session start and finish sounds do work, but other applications (tried amarok, mplayer and smplayer from "sid") don't. Switching to phonon-backend-xine 4:4.3.1-1 makes the sound work again in any application I've tried.
