Package: kcontrol Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-6 Severity: minor When trying to add a new printer in kcontrol as normal user i have to authenticate myself at the end of the process. I type "root" and then his pw. If i click ok, it just repeats the dialog (user name + pw). I retype root and pw, and then it says:"Authentication failed (user name=root) Do you want to try again?". I am offered "repeat" and "abort". Clicking repeat brings me back to authentication dialog again. I have to retype it and then after some tries it works. But saying in between again authentication fails, so that i have to click "repeat" and then suddenly the root-pw is accepted.
