[update] I noticed that I have a lot of unused packages, so I auto-removed them: apt-get autoremove
and still I cannot start KDE session as a regular user from KDM, however from KDM I can switch to console login, log in as regular user, and then I can run startx which starts KDE session correctly this time. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
