Package: libqt4-dbus Version: 4.4.0~rc1-5 Severity: normal I'm not sure if this is a debian bug or a skype bug, but here goes. After upgrading to the newest versions of libqt4, 4.4.0-2, Skype started throwing this error:
"skype: error while loading shared libraries: libQtDBus.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" I was able to fix the problem by downgrading libqt4-dbus and ia32-libs-gtk(which is weird because its the same version) to the versions in testing. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libqt4-dbus depends on: ii libc6 2.7-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.0-4 GCC support library ii libqt4-xml 4.4.0~rc1-5 Qt 4 XML module ii libqtcore4 4.4.0~rc1-5 Qt 4 core module ii libstdc++6 4.3.0-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 libqt4-dbus recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
