3.5.8.dfsg.1.5 doesn't solve it for me, too. crashwindow shows once every session, but trying to get a backtrace hides (or crashes?) it.
when konqueror is started from a console window, it says: ASSERT: "!icon.isEmpty()" in /tmp/buildd/kdebase-3.5.8.dfsg.1/./libkonq/konq_pixmapprovider.cc (81) ASSERT: "!icon.isEmpty()" in /tmp/buildd/kdebase-3.5.8.dfsg.1/./libkonq/konq_pixmapprovider.cc (81) ASSERT: "!icon.isEmpty()" in /tmp/buildd/kdebase-3.5.8.dfsg.1/./libkonq/konq_pixmapprovider.cc (81) ASSERT: "!icon.isEmpty()" in /tmp/buildd/kdebase-3.5.8.dfsg.1/./libkonq/konq_pixmapprovider.cc (81) (process:23867): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_clipboard_get_for_display: assertion `display != NULL' failed Adobe Flash Player: gtk_clipboard_get(GDK_SELECTION_PRIMARY); failed. Trying to call gtk_init(0,0); The program '<unknown>' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'. (Details: serial 94 error_code 3 request_code 18 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) regards, jozi -- Open-PGP key: http://www.jozi.at/pub_keys/ or hkp://wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net id 0x5CE4CC2D | fingerprint 7043 2391 0922 8FAA 28AE F436 D26A 60F9 5CE4 CC2D
