I woner shy this wasn't reproted before, because I've read (and helped ) several people with this problem. If you have the same problems as others, you have ksmserver 4:3.5.7 installed, which tries to call start_kdeinit instead of the new start_kdeinit_wrapper. Upgrading ksmserver to 4:3.5.8 (from unstable) should do the trick. The other solution is to downgrade kdelibs4c2a ot to ignore this bug until the new ksmserver is in testing.
