kword still depends on
ii libwv2-1c2 0.2.3-1 a library for accessing Microsoft Word docum
which is an old version of
ii libwv-1.2-3 1.2.4-1 Library for accessing Microsoft Word documen
Between both versions, several security bugs have been fixed. So would
it be possible to recompile kword with the newest libwv version ?

Although wv2 and wv are distributed from the same website, they
are shipped as different source packages on different release cycles. And
AFAIK koffice needs wv2 and it is using latest version.
