I have some weird issues with video playback and do not know exactly to
which package is this bug to be assigned. If I click on a link to a
video (whether in a KDE app or in a non-KDE app such as
Firefox) and the
default app to play it is a KDE video app (Tested with kplayer and
kaffeine), it fails with an error messge like :
"File not found: '/tmp/kde-nicolas/bbb.avi'"
- It works with a non-kde video app (tested with vlc)
- It fails if the file is attached in a mail viewed in kmail
- It fails if I try to open the URL directly in kaffeine or in kplayer
- It works if the file is on my hard drive (excepted in the mail case)
- It fails only with videos. I tested opening RTF and AI files with
kghostscript and Kword and it worked
