After an upgrade, the following happened:
1) High score table cleared.
2) While solving a level katomic is supposed to show two scores: the best
score
and the score of my current partial solution. The best score is not changed
when I do a better solution even though the best score is entered to the high
score table.
So for now, I have to view the high score table if I don't remember my best
score because the one shown is unreliable.
I attach my ~/.kde/share/config/katomicrc, which looks strange to me.
1) The old high score table seems to be present in sections like
[High Scores Level 1]
2) The new high score table seems to be present in sections like
[Highscores Level 1]
It looks like the first type is used for finding out the best score to show
(but is never changed)
while the second type is used for storing the best scores.
IMHO, there should be only one best score table.
For smooth upgrade, the old and new tables should be
merged.
