I have an external auto-sized and auto-hidden taskbar which resides in the upper left screen corner, as it was the default in the early days of KDE 1.x. Since the upgrade of kicker / kdebase from 4:3.5.3-1 to 4:3.5.3-2, the external task bar spans the whole left edge of the screen on two of my machines, an i386 system and an AMD64 box running 64 Bit Debian. The panel behaves as if its size was set to 100% instead of 1% as it is. I tried adjusting the size to 3% or 0% and save the settings, to make sure I wasn't using stale configuration entries which might have changed in KDE_3_5_BRANCH, but to no avail.
