At some point between Debian 12 and 13 (probably when
plasma-workspace-wayland was merged into plasma-workspace), the file
/usr/share/wayland-sessions/plasmawayland.desktop was renamed to
plasma.desktop.
This breaks sddm autologin, as the Session= entry is the name of that file.
Workaround: change Session=plasmawayland.desktop (in e.g.
/etc/sddm.conf) to Session=plasma.desktop.
Adding a compatibility symlink would probably work, but I have not
tested this, and if it can't be done in trixie (rather than unstable)
then it's probably not worth doing at all. (I'm filing this partly to
share the workaround.)
