Dear Maintainer,
When running Dolphin on a multi-monitor Wayland setup with a rotated monitor
and vertical offset,
right-click context menus appear centered in the window instead of at the
cursor location.
This issue did not occur before the recent update to version 4:25.04.3-1.
Running Dolphin with `QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb` (XWayland) fixes the problem,
indicating a
Wayland-specific popup positioning bug in the new version.
Expected behavior: context menus should appear at the cursor position
regardless of monitor layout.
Steps to reproduce:
- Use a multi-monitor setup with one monitor to the left rotated and offset
vertically (see attached kscreen-doctor output).
- Run Dolphin natively on Wayland.
- Right-click inside Dolphin’s window in the affected monitor’s upper right
quadrant.
Outcome: Context menu appears centered instead of near the cursor.
Please investigate and fix the Wayland popup positioning issue in Dolphin or
underlying Qt/Plasma libraries.
