The issue is tracked upstream at https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/ QTBUG-87776 and the fix is targeting Qt 6.10 which will be released in autumn 2025. Most of the patches have been backported to Qt 6.9, but that is yet to be released and will thus not be in trixie. I do not think that backporting a dozen patches making fundamental changes to the build system is reasonable at this stage. The trixie release is approaching and I cannot judge the side effects. And now is not the time to experiment. I do not think we have a choice here and will sadly have to ship trixie with this bug. The work-around is to add qt6-declarative-private-dev as a B-D which is of course not great, but we'll have to live with it. -- Med vänliga hälsningar Patrick Franz
