Package: kdebase-kio-plugins Version: 4:3.5.2-1 Severity: important
When trying to plugin a ext3 formatted memstick, a dialog box appeaers asking what to do. If I choose 'open in new window' a information box with a mounting progress bar appears, it mounts, the information box with the progress bar dissapears and a konqueror window appears with access to the memstick. Trying the same thing with a vfat-formatted memstick, does almost work the same way, except sometimes, the information window with the progress bar never dissapears, but I have full access to the memstick. Any help to provide more info is appreciated. /Sune -- System Information: Debian Release: unstable/experimental APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages kdebase-kio-plugins depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.2-2 core libraries for all KDE applica ii libc6 2.3.6-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdbus-1-2 0.61-5 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-qt-1-1c2 0.61-5 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libgcc1 1:4.1.0-1 GCC support library ii libhal-storage1 0.5.7-1 Hardware Abstraction Layer - share ii libhal1 0.5.7-1 Hardware Abstraction Layer - share ii libldap2 2.1.30-13 OpenLDAP libraries ii libopenexr2c2a 1.2.2-4.2 runtime files for the OpenEXR imag ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.6-1 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsasl2 2.1.19.dfsg1-0.1 Authentication abstraction library ii libsasl2-modules 2.1.19.dfsg1-0.1 Pluggable Authentication Modules f ii libsmbclient 3.0.22-1 shared library that allows applica ii libstdc++6 4.1.0-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libxcursor1 1.1.5.2-3 X cursor management library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-11 compression library - runtime Versions of packages kdebase-kio-plugins recommends: ii hal 0.5.7-1 Hardware Abstraction Layer ii kamera 4:3.5.2-1 digital camera io_slave for Konque ii kdemultimedia-kio-plugins 4:3.5.2-2 enables the browsing of audio CDs ii kdesktop 4:3.5.2-1 miscellaneous binaries and files f ii pmount 0.9.9-2 mount removable devices as normal -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
