Thank you for letting me know. I notice the comment about the user experience, where packages that do not work in the Wayland environment might be proposed. This is true. There is no vocabulary in AppStream to express such relationships, and Isenkram do not implement any mechanism trying to handle it either. I guess something could be implemented using package Conflicts, Enhances and other APT related package metadata, but I am not aware of anyone implementing it today. <URL: https://bugs.debian.org/825336 > is a related request asking to not suggest packages enhancing not installed packages. At the moment, Isenkram leave it to the user to decide if they want to install the package or not, and only try to present to the users packages claiming support for the hardware present. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
