Sounds like an idea !

I’ve uploaded the split package (that will need to clear NEW) and the Qt5 
support is now a recommended package that you’ll be able to remove if you like.

I’m not going to remove the Qt5/KF5 support from the dependency tree entirely 
just now. We do want it to just-work™ by default for people who don’t know what 
we’re talking about and there are still many Qt5/KF5 apps around, specially if 
you count third party apps not shipped by Debian.
