Hi, I'd like to salvage kdsoap and bring it under collaborative maintenance (the Debian Qt/KDE Team). You can read about the package salvaging procedure here: https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.en.html#package-salvaging In the case of kdsoap, multiple criteria apply: * Five upstream releases haven't been imported * The package has seen no activity in almost three years * Multiple bugs were not replied to (nor triaged) by the maintainer * #1074108 appears to result in KDE Plasma users not being able to browse SMB shares, and this would be a regression from over a decade of Debian releases. Thus the 2.x upload of kdsoap needs to happen ASAP with the approaching trixie freeze. Regards, Nicholas
