Quanta crashes very often when typing source code. Machine instability has been ruled out using several tests (memory, CPU, power, etc.). CPU: Pentium 4 3.0GHz with HT support enabled Kernel: 2.6.14-686-SMP Other applications seems to work properly and does not crash, so overall system stability is OK. This bug could be related to parsing activity when typing new text. Quanta crashes more frequently when typing block structures near the end of the document before closing the block, statement or other syntactical unit. Several other WEB developers reported crashes with similar behaviour. Changes made since the last save are lost when Quanta crashes, so it is very annoying.
