It was the plan all along to get 6.8 into trixie. We managed to get 6.4.2 into bookworm and 6.8 has a similar release schedule. It's too early to say whether it's gonna be 6.8.1 or 6.8.2 - I would ofc prefer 6.8.2 but it's gonna be tight with the transition freeze.
