Package: ghostwriter Version: 23.04.3+ds-1+b1 Severity: wishlist I tried to get spell checking to work in ghostwriter and initially couldn't figure out what "No backend found for spell checking" was supposed to mean. Only after looking at the terminal output of ghostwriter, where it said
kf.sonnet.core: Sonnet: No speller backends available! I was able to find out where that backend was supposed to come from. Having sonnet-plugins in Recommends would have made that a lot easier. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (501, 'testing'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.9.8-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages ghostwriter depends on: ii libc6 2.39-4 ii libcmark-gfm-extensions0.29.0.gfm.6 0.29.0.gfm.6-6+b1 ii libcmark-gfm0.29.0.gfm.6 0.29.0.gfm.6-6+b1 ii libkf5configwidgets5 5.115.0-2 ii libkf5coreaddons5 5.115.0-2 ii libkf5sonnetcore5 5.115.0-2 ii libkf5sonnetui5 5.115.0-2 ii libkf5widgetsaddons5 5.115.0-2 ii libkf5xmlgui5 5.115.0-2+b1 ii libqt5core5t64 5.15.13+dfsg-3 ii libqt5gui5t64 5.15.13+dfsg-3 ii libqt5svg5 5.15.13-2 ii libqt5webchannel5 5.15.13-2 ii libqt5webenginewidgets5 5.15.17+dfsg-3 ii libqt5widgets5t64 5.15.13+dfsg-3 ii libstdc++6 14-20240330-1 ghostwriter recommends no packages.
