I spoke with lamont about this earlier; he seems to think it due to a wholly separate toolchain issue causing problems for Qt (it seems that #326581 was not actually fixed). Certainly I can't think of any other reason why the above failure should occur, so I'm hopeful that once Qt is built on hppa, a rebuild of arts will succeed. Cheers, Christopher Martin
