Yeah, native Wayland support is definitely nice.
As a side effect, window decorations are now client-side (drawn by Qt itself), not server-side. There is a qgnomeplatform theme [2][3] which makes Qt draw decorations which look better in a GNOME environment. After installing, you can enable it by exporting QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=gnome somewhere.
Installing qgnomeplatform-qt5 makes Qt/KDE apps look a bit better.It's not quite the same as when using XWayland, but that is probably because I tweaked the GNOME decorations a little and qgnomeplatform doesn't pick up those modifications.
