I’d like to add that I have this problem as well. I don’t have an nvidia device, so `nvidia-kernel-dkms` may not be involved.
I use(d) konsole on two machines, both running debian unstable. On one of these machines the problem did not manifest for a while, until after a reboot. Also this problem not only affects konsole, but possibly also keepassxc. There I cannot confirm the just entered password by hitting the return key. Instead I have to either use the rodent or use TAB to switch focus to the appropriate button. I hope this helps.
