In the kdelibs package in experimental, there is now /usr/lib/libkdefakes_pic.a, which will allow mimelib to be linked statically to libkdefakes, thus removing its run-time dependency on kdelibs4c2. Then you will be able to use mimelib without pulling in kdelibs. Unfortunately, to speed up some transitions from Sid --> Etch, we're making only emergency uploads to Sid, so it might be a little while before this problem is solved in Sid.
