I can't reproduce this problem. Restoring a session with a maximized window, where a sound is associated with maximization works, though the maximized application fills the screen for a few seconds before kicker is launched. Please ensure that you are running the latest Sid, including the latest arts packages. Also, is this a new problem, or one that you just noticed but could have been present for a while? You're not using something other than kwin for your window manager, or running any non-standard scripts in ~/.kde/Autostart? Cheers, Christopher Martin
