In my opinion, the Qt print dialog should support the CUPS temporary queue facility correctly. CUPS has APIs to do this. There shoudn't be any need to set up a permanent manual queue or have cups-browsed add a permanent queue in order to get remote queue or printer attributes Cheers, Brian.
