I'd like to have two icons at the bottom of my desktop, just above the task bar. This works fine - as long as I switch off automatic arrangement of icons. When this option is enabled, the icons are moving up one icon height on every new login (didn't test how far this would go though). My screen size is 1280x960, the desktop icon size is 64.
