-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 This bug has been the bane of my life for a long time. I experience it with a digital camera on a usb-storage drive.
With konqueror 3.3.1-2, I did this: * Mount my "camera" device by clicking on the icon that I created for it on the desktop. (I also have an fstab entry for it.) This opens a konqueror window showing the files in it. * Close the konqueror window. * Try to unmount it using "unmount" from the right-mouse-button menu. A dialog box says: ~ Could not unmount device ~ The reported error was: ~ unmount: /camera: device is busy ~ unmount: /camera: device is busy fuser /camera says /camera: 2158 ps ax | grep 2158 says ~ 2158 ? S 0:06 kdeinit: konqueror -mimetype inode/directory file:/camera There is no apparent konqueror window open. Killing process 2158 fixes the problem and allows me to unmount it.
