That did not work on my system (testing, the error suddenly occured after an "apt-get upgrade" I did the day before yesterday) So I still have an empty K-Menu and also (re)installing menu-xdg did nothing. I started x with fluxbox and voila: full menu with all entries. But even after reinstalling deinstalling/reinstalling dpkg-reconfigure etc.pp. of the whole kde-stuff I still have nothing in the k-menu. I deleted .kde in my home directory and let KDE build that new, but still empty menu. The KDE-Packages (and kicker) are mostly 3.2.2-1. I copied the ui_standards.rc from another System but after running update-menus it was gone again. So I would think, the bug is not fixed. Are there any other solutions?
