Robert, Does kdeprintfax from 3.3.1 still do this?
I just installed efax to take a look at it. The documentation is not very clear on setting variable from the command line. It basically says that you can do it. Reading the /usr/bin/fax script, though, it checks command line parameters for starting with [A-Z], and if they do, simply does and eval $1. So, "..." or '...' should work (I think), but not `...`. Josh
