I'm not sure, if this is intended, but it ends up in a big problem: the next time when trying to start KDE at this user, it doesn't start, because the dcopserver has no write-access to the .ICEauthority file. KDE shows a error message telling about this permission problem. I saw this problem already at KDE 2.2.2 in stable. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26hw6 Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE Versions of packages kdelibs-bin depends on: ii kdelibs4 4:3.2.2-2 KDE core libraries ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.16-5 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.2-1 A high-quality block-sorting file ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libcupsys2 1.1.20final+cvs20040330-3 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii libfam0c102 2.7.0-5 client library to control the FAM ii libgcc1 1:3.3.4-1 GCC support library ii libgcrypt1 1.1.12-4 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libgnutls7 0.8.12-5 GNU TLS library - runtime library ii libpng12-0 1.2.5.0-6 PNG library - runtime ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.2.3-2 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.4-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libtasn1-0 0.1.2-2 Manage ASN.1 structures (runtime) ii libxml2 2.6.10-3 GNOME XML library ii libxrender1 0.8.3-5 X Rendering Extension client libra ii libxslt1.1 1.1.7-1 XSLT processing library - runtime ii netpbm 2:10.0-3 Graphics conversion tools ii python 2.3.4-1 An interactive high-level object-o ii xlibs 4.2.1-12.1 X Window System client libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.2.1.1-3 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information --------------------------------------- Received: (at 265323-done) by bugs.debian.org; 24 Sep 2004 00:20:09 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 23 17:20:09 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from spameater02-01.dimenocmail.com [66.195.125.160] by spohr.debian.org with smtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CAdon-0008Bs-00; Thu, 23 Sep 2004 17:20:09 -0700 Received: (qmail 15792 invoked by uid 1011); 24 Sep 2004 04:22:08 -0000 Received: from [EMAIL PROTECTED] by spameater02-01.dimenocmail.com by uid 1008 with qmail-scanner-1.22-st-qms (spamassassin: 2.64.
