Here is a screenshot: http://bulma.net/~pacoros/tmp/KMailBug.jpeg Sometimes, when trying to read this "Inbox" folder and there is a new mail, KMail crashes. I can't reprodice this crash just now, if it happens, I'm going to add debug info to this bug report. This problem doesn't make KMail unusable, but makes KMail very unstable. mutt and Mozilla Thunderbird does not unsort IMAP folders. Neither KMail did, it's happening sice 2 weeks ago approximately. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.0 Locale: LANG=es, LC_CTYPE=es (ignored: LC_ALL set to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Versions of packages kmail depends on: ii kdebase-kio-plugins 4:3.2.2-1 KDE I/O Slaves ii kdelibs4 4:3.2.3-2 KDE core libraries ii ktnef 4:3.2.2-2 KDE TNEF viewer ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.16-5 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfam0c102 2.7.0-5 client library to control the FAM ii libgcc1 1:3.3.4-1 GCC support library ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-5 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjpeg62 6b-9 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libkcal2 4:3.2.2-2 KDE calendaring library ii libkdenetwork2 4:3.2.2-2 KDE Network library ii libkdepim1 4:3.2.2-2 KDE PIM library ii libksieve0 4:3.2.2-2 KDE mail/news message filtering li ii libmimelib1 4:3.2.2-2 KDE mime library ii libpcre3 4.5-1.1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii libpng12-0 1.2.5.0-6 PNG library - runtime ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.2.3-3 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-5 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.4-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-5 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-5 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxrender1 0.8.3-7 X Rendering Extension client libra ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-5 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g 1:1.2.1.1-3 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information --------------------------------------- Received: (at 256337-done) by bugs.debian.org; 20 Sep 2004 23:15:06 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Sep 20 16:15:06 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from 84-120-70-21.onocable.ono.com (chistera.yi.org) [84.120.70.21] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1C9XNB-00017Q-00; Mon, 20 Sep 2004 16:15:06 -0700 Received: from userid 1000 by chistera.yi.org with local (Exim 4.34) id 1C9XNA-0002LD-NF for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Tue, 21 Sep 2004 01:15:04 +0200 Date: Tue, 21 Sep 2004 01:15:04 +0200 From: Adeodato =?iso-8859-1?Q?Sim=F3?= <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Bug#256337: Now working Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> X-No-CC: Please respect my Mail-Followup-To header User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.6+20040907i Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-3.8 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_01,FROM_ENDS_IN_NUMS, HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: * Paco Ros [Mon, 20 Sep 2004 23:21:31 +0200]: > I needed to remove $HOME/.kde/share/config/kmailrc and re-create all KMail > config to make it work. > I've also changed my IMAP account display name. > It's now Working!! :-) closing the bug, since he is the original submitter too. -- Adeodato Simó EM: asp16 [ykwim] alu.ua.es | PK: DA6AE621 He has never been known to use a word that might send a reader to the dictionary. -- William Faulkner (about Ernest Hemingway)
