If I then close the window instead of clicking on the "reply" button, then immediatley click on the contact to send him a message after $some_time, I get an empty window with "reply" highlighted in the bottom right and a "Next >>" button to its left, which when clicked proceeds to show $some_large_number of empty messages again. The main text entry window does not accept input. I have the History input plugin enabled but this happens with it enabled or without.
