Package: kmail Version: 4:3.3.0-2 Severity: normal When importing several large mbox files into kmail, I got this message dozens of times:
"Duplicate message subject error when adding message to folder MBOX-debbugs in KMail" Now, last I checked, it was still legal to send and receive distinct messages with the same subject. In fact, this is encouraged when sending messages to mailing lists. So I don't think this dialog is appropriate at all. (and if that's not what the dialog means, it needs to be rewritten so it actually says what it means) Much worse, the dialog is displayed every time this condition is encountered, and the program stops processing the current mailbox every single time. I don't think I have to spell out the problem with this -- if the message must be displayed, it should either be displayed in the status area of the import window (the one that says "Importing messages from blahblahblah..."), displayed as a pop-up dialog once and not displayed again, or at least displayed with a button you can push to disable it in the future.
