Hi,

KDE's bugtracking meantions this as fixed. A patch was submitted, called an "oops" (forgot to test return value).

As to can you get rid of the messages?

KDE doesn't like GNOME's icons in it's path in that sarge release.

The messages aren't in any way harmful: just watch and ejoy ;)

I have the same problem as described in bug #249019, namely that when I
start a kde program it gives the following warning message:
kdecore (KIconLoader): WARNING: Icon directory /usr/share/icons/hicolor/
group 48x48/stock/text not valid.
