Yes it seems, I can't reproduce it with Nedit build with Open Motif.
So...

With Sarge's Nedit, I can reproduce it under KDE, but not under xfce3
(ctrl C Ctrl V from Firefox to Abiword)

Yes, but I don't know if there is no difference between a copy - paste
under KDE and a copy - past under gnome.
