Hi! Someone just pointed me to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80497 which suggests that the problem is caused by a miscompilation of an mpeglib source file. It does not shed light on the cause however, that is, if it's a compiler bug or a bug in the source file revealed by correct compiler optimizations.
