The file does not exist on my system nor on http://packages.debian.org/, so I looked what knode was using : $ ldd /usr/bin/knode | grep libkdenetwork libkdenetwork.so.2 => /home/tibob/local/lib/libkdenetwork.so.2 (0x40148000) I removed LD_LIBRARY_PATH from the environement and knode worked again...
