Hi, As you can read in the upstream bug report, the idn library is dlopen'd, and for this to be possible, libidn.so and .la need to be there. These are in the libidn11-dev package, and I guess we'll need to make kdelibs depend on this.
According to Stephan Kulow, this problem is fixed upstream for KDE 3.3, where I assume, kdelibs will link at compile time to libidn. cheers domi
