My kpdf is spitting out lots of diagnostic info, to stdout, as it renders. Mainly lots of this: CLIPPING: 1 POLYS - POLY 0: (0/1089) (842/1089) (842/0) (0/0) (0/1089) FILLING: 1 POLYS - POLY 0: (21/1106) (862/1106) (862/17) (21/17) (21/1106) It looks like this is set in kpdf/QOutputDev.cpp, line 62-3: #define QPDFDBG(x) x // special debug mode //#define QPDFDBG(x) // normal compilation (On a 4M pdf file, it put about 4M of text into my .xsession-errors. This really overworks it; that brought my K6-475 to a near-halt. That's a slow machine, now, but I think this would slow the program for most everybody.) Right now, I'm not sure how to see if this has changed in the 3.2.2 packages that are on their way. I wasn't sure whether to wait and see if it was caught, or if it would be good to mention it now, in case it was still around. So here it is... Thanks for all the work, it's hugely useful.
