Package: kate Version: 4:3.2.1-1 Severity: normal When I paste a large amount of selected text from kate into a terminal window (where I'm doing something like "cat > myfile") using the middle mouse button, I get some garbage in between. To reproduce, take a file that consists of 700 lines "aslkdfj;alksdj;flkasjd;k", select the first 632, do "cat >myfile" in a terminal, middle click, and look at what's been pasted.
